Ep. 13: Kant & Relativism, pt 1.  (25 min) MP3 We look a little deeper into relativism.  What caused relativism?  We look at the philosophies of Hume and Kant to look at the epistemological and metaphysical issues that turned into relativism.  We also get into the metaphysical principle “no effect can be greater than it’s cause” and apply this towards creation and when people try say evolution (the first biological organism) was caused by random chance.  This part 1 on Kant.

Ep. 12: Relativism, pt 2.  (25 min) MP3 What is relativism?  Is a University more relative than popular culture?  Using Peter Kreeft’s book, “A Refutation of Moral Relativism,” we examine the 4 types of relativism: metaphysical relativism, epidemiological relativism, moral relativism and religious relativism.  Focus is given this time to moral relativism in regards to atheism, and the religious relativism which says “all religions are the same.”  This part 2 of a two part episode on relativism.
